Miley Cyrus has recorded a new Public Service Announced on behalf of Feeding America. In the spot, the actress/singer takes on the role of Rickey, a former member of the Army Reserve who is trying to start a career and struggling not only with that difficult task, but also with finding a meal in general. Miley is one of many celebrity chipping in to this important cause. Others telling the stories of real-life, poverty-stricken Americans included Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Taye Diggs and Ana Ortiz. Aging, overrated New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez is under investigation for participating in Hollywood's underground poker ring, according to reports. Major League Baseball is looking into a convicted fraudster's stunning confession that the oft-controversial Yankees slugger played in high-stakes tournaments. Illegal ones that included celebrities Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, and a jailed hedge fund manager, Bradley Ruderman. Ruderman embezzled million of his clients' money and used .2 million of it to pay off gambling debts, admitting that he played against Rodriguez, 36. Maguire has been sued to recover part of the winnings. “Like all situations, when we receive new information we investigate," said a spokesperson for MLB, which interviewed, but did not punish A-Rod, once before. The crooked Ponzi Scheme mastermind used his clients' millions to pay off star players including Tobey Maguire and The Notebook director Nick Cassavetes. Multiple eyewitnesses at the games confirmed that Rodriguez was involved, but say his participation was limited. The baseball great has not commented. [Photo: WENN.com]

The “Thor” stud and his preggers “Fast Five” wife joined Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso for the laid-back outing, chatting and laughing as nearby shutterbugs snapped up pictures. Chris and Elsa are thrilled to be expecting their first child, and Pataky is said to be due sometime this spring. She told press, “Since it’s our first child we don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl. Our only wish is that it’s healthy.”
