The daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, Georgia May seems to be the perfect choice to represent the soon-to-be-global apparel company. Jagger told press, “To be handpicked by Madonna and Lola as the new face of Material Girl is truly amazing.” Jagger will appear in a back-to-school ad campaign as well as subsequent promotional gigs throughout the season. …not. Of course she bloody didn’t. Why dress your age when you look about twenty? Last night the 53-year-old mother wore a sheer dress as she debuted her new perfume in New York. The perfume is called Truth or Dare, which most of us associate with a game we played when we were 13 (we imagine Madge still plays it with all her young dancers). It’s also the name of a documentary made about the singer in 1990, which was called In Bed with Madonna outside of North America. The Queen of Pop clearly made a special effort to look as youthful as she did back then and to be fair she did a pretty good job of it. Oh to be a fly on the wall when Madge gets ready, we bet there’s some serious potions and lotions involved. Anyway, back to the perfume. It’s apparently ‘honest and yet daring’, just what we’ve always looked for in a fragrance.

Madonna’s album break records… for the biggest second week sales slump ever

ver the years Madonna has broken a record or two, possibly even several. But we imagine she’s not quite so proud of this one; she’s on track to having the biggest second week sales slump in history for her new album MDNA. Reports from the US indicate that sales of the album will drop by 88 per cent compared to the first week it was released. She shifted 359,000 copies of it in week one compared to around 46,000 in week two. MDNA became the biggest selling debut album of 2012 when it hit the shops, however some say her figures were inflated due to some clever sales tactics. Her label and Ticketmaster combined album sales with those of tickets for her upcoming tour – so basically every time someone bought a ticket for her tour, they also got her album either automatically downloaded to their desktop via iTunes or sent in the post to their home. 185,000 copies of MDNA were apparently sold in this way which probably accounts for the massive sales slump which has ensued. That’ll teach Madge for being crafty. Actually no it won’t, she’ll always be crafty.

Fans may have been a bit taken aback by those photographs of 15-year-old Lourdes smoking away like a stereotypical transgressive teenager, but no one was apparently more livid than Madonna. It seems that even if your mother is a legendary pop icon, pictures of some not so secret smoke breaks will essentially bring all parents to the same place: anger. Madonna was reportedly "incensed" and "infuriated" by the images that made their way around the interwebs. Although Madge has been pretty permissive about her teen accompanying her on tour, Daily Mail writes that those cigarette pictures have the mother thinking otherwise. More Post from: Crushable

Oh dear here we go again. The Queen of Pop just loves her lady kissing, doesn’t she? Yesterday Madonna took to Twitter for the second time to answer her fans questions on her new album. Britters took the opportunity to congratulate Madonna on her new album. She tweeted: "love the new album - every single song is incredible. congrats girl! " Madge eagerly responded, writing: "Please come on stage and kiss me again. I miss you!!" What’s wrong with a simple ‘thanks’, eh? Britney responded : “Tempting...” Meaning never in a million years, leave me alone you old lady. As you can imagine Madonna was not having that as an answer, she replied: "Are you gonna make me work for this?" To which Britney answered: "Why of course!" Meaning, seriously leave me alone. Yeah, so it looks like a kissing reunion is going to happen sometime never. Meanwhile Madonna was surprised by her people with a cake to celebrate the success of her new album, which you can see in the video above. She looks pretty ungrateful tbh and even throws cake in one of their faces. Mature, very mature.
