For the first time ever, a male is expected to emerge as the face of Chanel No. 5 - and that fella is said to be none other than Brad Pitt. Sources say the 48-year-old actor will start shooting the first ad campaigns in London this week after reportedly signing on as the spokesperson for the famous French scent. However, Pitt comes with a hefty price tag. According to E! Online, the "Fight Club" stud is allegedly being paid somewhere in the "seven figures" range to lend his image to Chanel No. 5. Brad joins a number of famous faces to pose for the perfume including Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley and Ali McGraw. The campaign is expected to launch overseas sometime later this year.

If she’s feeling adventurous she might crack open a bottle of wine and may even nibble on a cracker with some cheese on. But rarely, RARELY, does she venture out of the house onto the streets of London – except for when she has to attend a premiere and is contractually obliged to. So imagine our surprise when we spotted her gangly legs tentatively taking steps around Soho like a newborn Bambi. Fortunately she had her boyfriend James Righton with her to help steady her steps. And boy did they make an evening of it attending not one, not two but THREE venues (we can’t be arsed to list them, just take our word for it) thereby fulfilling her going-out quota for the next year. So we guess that’s all we’ll see of Keira for 2012 then?

Keira Knightley was out in London last night and while we could (and probably should) tell you about the premiere she attended for her new movie, A Dangerous Method at the May Fair Hotel we’re not going to bother. Why? Well aside from her co-stars, Michael Fassbender and Viggo Mortensen nobody remotely interesting turned out, so we thought we’d tell you what Keira did after the premiere instead, okay? Later that evening we caught up with the 26-year-old actress leaving 34th Restaurant with her boyfriend of almost a year, James Righton. Keira recently spoke to GQ magazine about her relationship with the Klaxons rocker and admitted she’s happier than she has ever been with her life right now. She said, “I’m actually loving this bit right now – doing the work I’m doing, having the life I can have around it. Right now, it’s really good.”

It’s no secret that she’s quite the desirable lady, and Keira Knightley is a little extra steamy in her brand new film “A Dangerous Method.” The “Pirates of the Caribbean” babe confessed that she relied on alcohol to help her loosen up prior to filming her sex scenes. Keira explained, “We had one or two shots maximum. It was a vodka shot to calm our nerves and away you go really. Then we had champagne. We drank quite a lot of champagne, actually. The vodka and the champagne was a good combination.” Ms. Knightley also noted that the flick was right up her alley, as she loves doing historical plot lines. “I do a lot of period drama. I just love them. I love everything about them. I’m interested in history and its a privilege that (playing such roles) is part of my job.”
