Jimmy Fallon: Gearing Up for President Obama

He’s always up for anything, and Jimmy Fallon has just snagged his biggest guest so far for his “Late Night” show- President Barack Obama. According to a report, Fallon will welcome the Commander-in-Chief next Tuesday (April 24) for an interview, though there’s been a change of locale. Rather than filming the show at Fallon’s Manhattan studio, everything will be shot from the University of North Carolina. Additionally, Dave Matthews will serve as the musical guest of the evening, making for one of the coolest “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” episodes of all time.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association just announced the third round of presenters which includes Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Channing Tatum, Seth Rogen, Queen Latifah, Dustin Hoffman, Paula Patton and Julianne Moore. Fallon explained, “There’s something so fun about taking that risk and doing live stuff. I think we both have that in our DNA. So we’re like, ‘Is this going to be good? I don’t know. But we’re about to go live in ten seconds.’” Justin added, “I’ll probably get crucified for saying this, but the impetus behind a lot of comedy is: I’ve been rejected so many times and I’m bitter and now I’m going to talk about it. Featured in four separate covers, Mila Kunis (the Knockout), Michael Fassbender (the Breakout), Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon (the Showmen), and Jay-Z (the King) have all been honored by the men’s magazine. In his interview, Jay-Z chatted about working with Kanye West on their super-hot album Watch The Throne. “I think he just can’t help himself. He puts so much into everything, and he’s like, ‘You have to treat it like I treat it.’ It drives you crazy sometimes—like when you’ve put seventy-five versions of a snare on one song and he’s like, ‘No!’ and you’re like, ‘Come on, man.’ ” The “99 Problems” rapper also discussed his dad’s departure from his life early on. “If your dad died before you were born, yeah, it hurts—but it’s not like you had a connection with something that was real.
