There really is no end to David Beckham’s talents, is there? The footballer has made his musical debut and before you all start groaning, thinking ‘ it’s going to be like Posh Spice’s solo career all over again’, it’s really not what you think. For the latest Samsung Galaxy advert Becks fires footballs at a wall of drums to play Beethovens Ode To Joy. Now at first we thought it must have been fiddled with some sort of camera trickery and he couldn’t possibly be as accurate as that but apparently it is all him and he did it in one take. We always knew Becks was bloody good when it came to playing with balls.

Looking sharp after an honorary celebration from President Barack Obama, David Beckham and the L.A. Galaxy left the White House in Washington, D.C. this afternoon (May 15). The soccer star looked handsome in a suit with gold and silver tie as he walked with his sexy teammates down the streets of the nation’s capital. In honor of the California team’s MLC Cup title, the President threw a party and joked around saying, “We also have a young up-and-comer on the team, a guy named David Beckham. I have to say I gave David a hard time – I said half his teammates could be his kids. We’re getting old, David. Although you’re holding up better than me.” The Galaxy athletes also participated in the Let’s Move campaign, which is hosted by first lady Michelle Obama.

Funny man James Corden is set to marry his girlfriend Julia Carey in a mahoosive £100,000 wedding. James, whose career has really took off since the success of One Man, Two Guvnors, plans to get hitched at Babington House in Somerset, which is wear Amanda Holden and Zoe Ball tied the knot. Anyway James, who is mates with Dave, wants the footballer to be his best man. If he doesn’t manage to persuade Becks to take on that role, it is thought the famous couple will still be attending the wedding. The wedding is expected to be quite the event, a friend of James has said: “James has been trying to get this sorted for a while as he’s crazy about Julia. “But his packed work schedule has been a nightmare to fit around. The bash will be a no-expense-spared event as he has done very well for himself over the years. “He wants the best of everything for his bride.” And the best, in this case, includes getting one of the most famous men on earth to play a key role in it. When it was Victoria’s birthday a few weeks back, the designer Tweeted an image of her birthday ‘cake’. In reality it was a plate of fruit but the sentiment’s the same. Today it’s her hubby David’s birthday and we’re pleased to see he’s not shying away from eating a lot on his big day. Dave uploaded a picture to his Facebook page of a rather large English breakfast, he wrote: ‘Boys cooked me a birthday breakfast this morning!’ Blimey that’s some very talent boys you have there David, we know they’re young but they are already quite the catches, aren’t they? The footballer also uploaded another picture of himself holding a card that said Daddy, surrounded by a sh*t load of presents, he accompanied it with the words: “Thank you to my amazing family for making my birthday so special!” He then showed off one his birthday presents, writing: “Best birthday present ever!!” Awww it all looks so lovely and wholesome, doesn’t it? Yesterday David and Victoria enjoyed a pre-birthday treat watching a basketball game, where they were captured sharing a kiss and a giggle. So, the Beckhams have made us swoon twice in one day, they really are doing a pretty darn good job at appearing like the perfect family and we want in.

Usually public displays of affection make us cringe a bit (we’re British, what can we say), however we did find this kiss on camera between Victoria and David Beckham very cute indeed. Mostly because the pair didn’t want to pucker up in front of around 20,000 people while at this basketball game yesterday - they were simply caught on the “kiss me” cam so had to - but credit where credit is due they did, and afterwards Vicky giggled and smiled (yes she SMILED, weird we know) like an embarrassed schoolgirl. What do you, she does have emotions after all.

Burger King is no longer in the fast food business with Mary J. Blige. The chain has pulled a controversial ad from the airwaves, citing a music licensing issue, but causing many to wonder if it gave in to pressure from critics who believe the spot is an insult to African-Americans. Mary J. Blige Burger King Commercial In response to Blige standing atop a counter and singing about "crispy chicken, fresh lettuce, three cheeses, ranch dressing wrapped up in a tasty, flour tortilla," lifestyle publication Madame Noire has written an open letter to the Grammy winner that reads: “Having a black woman sing about chicken was no mistake. They're trying to reach the ‘urban' (aka black) demographic and they used you. Because God knows black folk won't buy anything unless there's a song, and preferably a dance, attached to it." Salma Hayek, Jay Leno and David Beckham have also been hired to pitch this new product and Burger King claims the commercial will air again once the licensing issue is solved. Seeing as David Beckham is a world famous sports star it makes perfect sense that he features in the new Adidas ad for the brand’s ClimaCool Seduction campaign and the same goes for footballer Lionel Messi and professional basketball player Derrick Rose, but we can’t for the life of us work out why Katy Perry has made an appearance. It seems very random. We don’t really associate her with being particularly sporty. Nevertheless the I Kissed A Girl singer is shown decked out in Adidas clobber as she goes for a jog in Los Angeles and bumps into her fashion designer pal Jeremy Scott, who just happens to be riding past on a bicycle. Maybe Katy would only let Adidas use a remix of her new single, Part of Me, which is the soundtrack for the ad, if she could star in it, we can’t think of any other logical explanation. But anyway, aside from Katy, as previously mentioned, we get to see Becks sprinting along the Southbank in London as a stack of The Sun newspapers are dumped on the pavement showing the headline ‘Britain Prepares for 2012’. They then cut to Buenos Aires, Moscow and San Francisco before flashing up the tagline ‘Adidas is all in’. Actually, now we’ve watched it a few times we’ve realised it’s a pretty boring ad so don’t bother pressing play, unless of course you like seeing people going for a run, in which case knock yourself out.

The “Hot N Cold” songstress looks sporty and sexy as she goes for a jog with her gal pals and checks out a male runner while wearing the new Adidas ClimaCool kicks. And of course, Becks is steamy as always as he runs along the River Thames in London in his own pair of the stylish new sneakers. With Lionel Messi, Jeremy Scott and Derek Rose also featured, the soundtrack for the clip happens to be a remixed version of Kate Perry’s hit song “Part of Me.”

According to reports the voluptuous star has spoken to estate agents, or real estate agents, as they call them in American to arrange viewings. Apparently Kim wants the rather mahoosive house owned by Victoria and David Beckham to use as a European base for her large and famous family. The Beckhams originally brought the property in Hertfordshire in 1999 for £2.5 million. They spent a crazy £18 million renovating it, adding a swimming pool and other exciting expensive things. Victoria revealed in a recent interview that she prefers to stay at The Savoy when she’s in London rather than spending hours commuting from Beckingham Palace. It’s been reported that she is now looking for a smaller place in London. We all know Kim has plenty of cashish lying around from various photoshoots and what not so you never know, we might be seeing more of her in Blighty. Meanwhile she looked relaxed and in fine shape as she left Barry’s Bootcamp (yes it’s really called that) earlier today.
