Vin Diesel Posts Photo From “Riddick” Set

He’s well-known for staying connected to his fans, and last night (January 19) Vin Diesel gave his loyal Facebook friends a peek at his new “Riddick” film. In the photo, the “Fast Five” stud looks ripped, as usual, all dressed up in his character garb and giving an intimidating stare off into the distance. The synopsis, per an industry source, reads, “Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge.” And given that this project is still in the beginning stages of production, there’s not an official street date yet. Keep your fingers crossed for 2013.
