Having made a name for himself thanks to "American Idol," Scotty McCreery is now amongst the top names in music - as he joined the best of the best at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday evening (April 1). The "Trouble with Girls" crooner looked snazzy in a suit as he took time to greet fellow musicians, fans and media members while easing inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Along with performing tonight, Mr McCreery was among the early winners - as he took home the trophy for Best New Artist. Aside from Scotty, the ACMs were hosted by Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire with a powerhouse lineup of performers ranging from Zac Brown Band and Carrie Underwood to Keith Urban and Chris Young.

Adding a little springtime color to the festivities, Sara Evans made a dazzling arrival to the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday evening (April 1).
