She’s on a mission to make this nation a healthier place, and Michelle Obama paid Ellen DeGeneres a visit to discuss her workout plans. The First Lady told the daytime talk show host about her personal exercise regimen, explaining, “I workout everyday” while adding that it’s for an hour and a half and includes “cardio, some weights, some plyometrics kind of stuff.” With that said, DeGeneres wanted to see just how fit her guest really was - as she challenged Mrs Obama to a push-up contest on the spot! After cranking out over 20 push-ups, Ellen gave in and joked, “I thought it wouldn’t be good to show up the First Lady, so I stopped.”

Pop heartthrobs The Wanted announced they will be appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Max George (the hot one) took to his Twitter page to reveal the good news, he said:“It’s offical peeps, The Wanted are coming to the US in 2 days to perform on @TheEllenShow Monday, airing Tuesday!! Everyone come see us!!” Max obviously very excited about the news even tweeted Ellen herself. He warned the funny talk show host, “You better be ready @TheEllenShow…@thewantedmusicare coming! Be glad we came!” The band who consist of Jay, Max, Siva, Tom and Nathan have had two number one singles from their debut and follow up album. The band also announced at the end of last year that 2012 would see them embark on a US tour.They are said to be spending much of January and February in the US in a bid to break America. Their hit single Glad We Came was picked up by radio stations in the US last year, which has helped to increase their profile stateside. The boys had support from Justin Bieber’s manager too, he tweeted: “The call came in today. @thewantedmusic are coming to the US because they are wanted on the @TheEllenShow for Monday airing on Tuesday.nice”.
