Aishwarya Rai Checks Out “Spring Fever”

Stepping out for Day 2 of the Cannes Film Festival, Aiswarya Rai was back out on the red carpet for Spring Fever" on Thursday (May 14). Accompanied by husband Abhishek Bachcha, the Bollywood beauty looked her usual elegant self as she posed for photographers before heading inside to check out the new drama starring Qin Hao and Wu Wei. Meanwhile, Miss Rai and her hubby spent the earleir part of the day dressed a little more casually as they attended the Cinema Verite 2009 Press Conference. Taking place at the luxurious Hotel Martinez, Aishwarya joined Queen Noor of Jordan in announcing the third edition of the International Tribunes Cinema Verite event to take place in Genevaand Paris in October 2009. According to The Hindu, Cinema Verite is a special film event dedicated to films and social actions that promote human rights and the eight Millennium Development Goals adopted by the United Nations."

Looking simply stunning, Aishwarya Rai walked down the red carpet with grace while wearing a strapless white Roberto Cavalli train gown at the opening of the 62nd International Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 13). The L'Oreal brand ambassador appeared with husband, Abhishek Bachchan, who looked handsome while he matched his wife in white. Also joining her walk down the red carpet was Elizabeth Banks, the new L'Oreal world spokesperson. The 35-year-old Aishwarya looked breathtaking with a ruffled gown that had ruched bodice and accented with Swarovski crystals, that caught all eyes. Dressed from head to toe in high fashion, she wore red peeptoe heels, Swarovski red box clutch, and Swarovski jewels that consisted of teardrop earrings and two rings. Creating an elegant look, she had auburn highlights that were put into an up do with side swoop bangs. Her eyes popped with her silver eyeshadow. Other celebrities attending the screening included Claude Lelouch, Tilda Swinton, Jean Rochefort, Elsa Zylberstein, Agns Varda and Sad Taghmaoui.
